Trevor Marcy

Trevor was a three-year starter for the Ithaca Yellowjackets. In his sophomore year he played receiver. In his junior and senior years he switched to playing offensively at quarterback and defensively as a defensive back. As a junior Trevor was selected as his team’s most valuable player and repeated the honor his senior year as well as being selected as one of the team’s tri-­captains. In his senior year Trevor completed 144 of 241 passes for 1,730 yards and 21 touchdowns. He also rushed 170 times for 1,376 yards and 21 touchdowns. His 1,376 yards rushing set a new school record for yards gained in a season.

 

In addition to playing football Trevor also was a member of the varsity basketball, baseball and track teams. He was a member of his class council and a member of the National Honor Society for two years.

 

Trevor thanked his family and friends for their support and encouragement. He thanked his coaches and teammates, “especially Coach Jim Ahern and Coach Mike Ahern (Dr. Mike) for being there, pushing me to do my best and watching out for my well being. It was greatly appreciated.”
