Tony started playing football at age 12. At Walled Lake Western, he was a threeyear starter on defense. His career began as a middle line backer, but moved to free safety his junior and senior year. During his three years, Tony recorded 200 tackles and 3 interceptions. He helped lead the Warriors to 3 consecutive state playoff appearances and also helped the Warriors win 19 games in his 3 years on varsity. During his career, he compiled a 5-1 record against cross-town rivals Central and Northern, making the Warriors city champions 2 out of his 3 years.

Tony said, “I would like to thank my teammates, coaches, teachers, friends, and family for supporting me through my football career. I’d also like to give a special thanks to Mike Zdebski, Marty Castellon, Craig Rimpley, and Jodi Klucevek for helping me achieve my goals and mature as a man on and off the field. Most importantly I would like to thank my parents for all the hard work and support they have given me through out my life, I wouldn’t be here with out you.”
