Toby’s mother is Deb Leidy. He has two brothers, Justin Koenig (20) and Zach Koenig (17), and two sisters, Tasha Koenig (21) and Amber Koenig (15).
Toby started playing football in the second grade as a tackle and noseguard. He then played running back through the fifth grade, added tight end to his repertoire in the sixth grade, played fullback and quarterback in middle school and high school until the last four games of his senior season when he moved back to running back. Throughout his football career he was always a punter and kicker.
Toby also played basketball and baseball at Centreville. He intends to play either football or baseball in college.
Toby thanked, “God, my grandparents, Mom, my family, coaches, the Centreville community and my friends” for their influence and support.
