High School Coach: Bill Nesbitt
High School: St. Clair, B
College: Grand Valley State University

Tim couldn’t play football until he was in the eighth grade because he was over the weight limit for Pee Wee Football. “Football has taught me a lot about self-discipline and hard work. I owe a lot to my coach, Bill Nesbitt. He pushes hard, but always tells you what you do well and then what you need to keep practicing.”

Disc throwing is Tim’s second passion. He was number two in the state as a junior and looked forward to breaking the state record in the disc during his senior season. Tim also played basketball “though I’m not that good. I stand under the net and let players bounce off of me.” Tim also said, “I love the outdoors and motor sports. I love fishing and hunting and I love to ride my four-wheeler in the summer and my snowmobile in the winter.”

Tim thanked his grandparents for taking him in when times were rough. He thanked his stepmother Jennifer, and his Dad, “because without them I would never be where I am today. My Mom really holds my toes to the fire about school work.” He thanked, “my coach for pushing me to do the very best I can, both in and out of school.” He also thanked, “everyone who has helped me out through the years to be a better person.”
