Sean was a three-year varsity starter at quarterback, place-kicker and punter. He led the Hornets to their first playoff appearance in 13 years in 2003 and set many school records during his career. Sean was 4 for 6 in field goal attempts, with a long of 41 yards as a junior. His season records include: pass completions in one game (18), total passing yards (1,521 in 10 games), TD passes (18) and total kicking points (46). His career passing records include most TD passes (32), and total yards (3,558).
Sean also participated in baseball as a freshman, sophomore and junior. During his junior year on the varsity squad, he was 9-0 as a pitcher, and had two saves. In addition to sports, Sean enjoys lifting weights, hunting and spending time with friends. Sean has accepted a scholarship to play football for Saginaw Valley State University next Fall.
Sean thanked his parents, grandparents, aunt and uncles who made it to every game throughout his career, and the many Saline fans and families for supporting the Hornets. He also thanked each and every one of his teammates, especially “the big guys”. A special thanks was given to the entire coaching staff, especially his position coaches, Brett Parachek and John Korican. And finally he gave, “a huge thank you to head coach Mike Glennie, for believing in me and for putting up with me all these years.”
