Coach Ron Glodich graduated from Warren Fitzgerald High School in 1982. He attended Grand Valley State and Wayne State Universities and received his bachelors in science education in 1987.  He later earned his master’s degree from Michigan State University in Educational Administration.  Coach Glodich just completed his 26th year of coaching at Marine City.  He worked under both Bob Staskiewicz and Tony Scarcelli as offensive coordinator, and is currently the head coach.  He played for legendary coach Al Drath while attending Warren Fitzgerald high school.  Coach Glodich commented, ” I have been truly blessed in regards to the quality of coaches for whom I have worked and played.  These men have literally shaped who I am today.” I feel extremely fortunate to work in a high school that has such strong parental support, quality student athletes and supportive administration.”.  

Coach Glodich is proud to mention the success of the football program at Marine City High School.  The Mariners in 2012 completed their 30th straight winning season, qualified for the 15th straight playoff appearance, and secured their 9th straight league championship.  The Mariners have twice been to the state championship game, winning it all in 2007.  

Ron is married to Kathy Glodich and has been blessed with twins,  Gabrielle (18) attends Michigan State University and is currently on the competitive cheer team.  Gunnar (18) attends Adrian college and is currently on the varsity baseball team.
