Robbie participated in organized football since the second grade. In high school he was a four-year, two-way starter for the Spring Lake Lakers. He started at tight end and linebacker his freshman year and has been named second team All Conference Tight End and Tail-back and Linebacker since his sophomore season. In his football career he has earned six All Conference medals and has accumulated over 3,500 yards and totaled 439 career tackles. His senior season he led the 8-1 Lakers with 1,200 yards, 17 touchdowns and 115 tackles. Robbie was named All State by the Detroit Free Press, first team All Area by the Muskegon Chronicle for three consecutive seasons, and first team All Conference at Linebacker and Running back for the second consecutive season. Robbie has received a football scholarship to the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he will play linebacker.

Robbie also lettered in baseball four years and basketball three years. He was named first team All Conference in Baseball and second team All Confrence in basketball. Robbie will finish his high school career with 11 of a possible 12 varsity letters.

Robbie gave special thanks to his mother Donna, his coaches Jerry Rabideau, Brian Sabo, Kent Higgs, Leo Rosencrants and Bill Fritzma. Robbie also thanked his basketball coach Bill Core and gave a special thanks to his brother and teammates, “for pushing him to be the best he could be.”
