Nathaniel started playing Rocket football in the second grade, and the game has been his love ever since. He was a two-year starter in high school playing mostly defense his junior year and starting both ways his senior year. Nathaniel was a captain his senior year. He led his team in receptions and reception yards and was awarded the “Unsung Hero Coaches Award.”
Nathaniel was very involved in sports and activities at Lakeview. Aside from football he was also a starter on the basketball team for two years and lettered in track three years. He was a three-year member of the National Honor Society where he acquired a number of community service hours.
Nathaniel thanked his family and friends for all of their support, his parents, Todd and Barb, “for always being there for me and believing in me in both football and life. He thanked the entire Lakeview High School coaching staff, especially Mark Gibbs for his effort in the off-season, and Man Miller for always believing in him and pushing him to make him better on and off the field.”
