Nate started at linebacker for Hillsdale for three years. He recorded 475 career tackles, 45 tackles for loss, and 7 blocked kicks. His career varsity record was 28-8. In his junior year he helped win a district title, finishing with a 10-2 record, while recording 165 tackles. His senior year, he led the Hornets to the Division 5 semi-finals with 189 tackles. The Hornets finished the season with an impressive 12-1 record.
Nate also has spent four years on the Hornet track team. He helped set the 4×100 and 4×200 meter relay school records. He also set the school record in the shot put and was ranked in the top 15 in the nation.
Nate thanked, “my parents for being my biggest role models, my coaches for letting me be a wild-man on the field, and my best friends Brandon Siakel and Mike Blanchard for always working out with me.”
