Mark began football for the first time in ninth grade. “Starting wasn’t the easiest thing to do. I remember days where I thought I wouldn’t be good but the confidence the coaches had in me, and their patience, made me work even harder. It was difficult for me learning plays and learning how and when to make different football techniques but I continued to work hard in practice, and also in the off-season, and began to perfect my craft.”
Mark started running track when he was six years old and continued until he was about eleven. “I won hundreds of medals, most being gold, won nationals, and set records.” He also played basketball, “which was always one of my favorite sports.”
