My parents, Julie and Gordy, have almost never missed a sporting event, whether it be a championship game or a scrimmage, and are always helping me do whatever it takes to realize my sporting dreams.” He said, “Off the field, however, is where their most important impact has been, as they have set a wonderful standard as to how to be a good person.” The coaches and staff at Traverse City Central have been extremely beneficial in supporting and pushing Mack to achieve his goals, he said. “Coach Gle, Coach Turner, Coach Tim Stark, Coach Passinault, and Coach Schugars, have all set fine examples of work ethic and faith.
