Kyle is the son of Dan and Susan Krob. He has one sister, Michelle, and one brother, Tyler, both graduates of Ferris State University.

Kyle started his football career in the Gull Lake Rocket Football program in the fourth grade. He was a two-year varsity starter at center for the Gull Lake Blue Devils and also played on the defensive line.

Besides football, Kyle has also participated in four years of baseball earning two varsity letters as a pitcher and first baseman. Kyle was a two-year member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society. He was a member of Volunteens and has spent the past three summers umpiring Little League games. Kyle is a graduate of Gull Lake High School and the Kalamazoo Area Math and Science Center. He carried a 3.8 GPA and received an Honorable Mention on the Academic All State football team. Kyle has been accepted into the University of Iowa Honors Program and will begin classes in the fall where he plans to study medicine.

Kyle said, “I am very grateful for the continuous support and encouragement from my parents who never missed a single game throughout the years. I thank my Rocket Football coaches, Scott Schultz, Bill Beeke, and Dale Boone, for teaching me the basics. Most importantly, I thank my varsity coaches, head coach Mark Blaesser, along with Denny Keck and Jack Boerman for giving me the opportunity to excel in football, with a special thank you to my line coach Kevin Meadows for pushing me to give it my best. I also thank my teammates and friends for a great four years.
