Kevin is the son of Mike and Sandy Miller. He has an older brother, Brian, and a younger sister, Jenna. 

 

Kevin began playing football in seventh grade for his middle school team. In his high school freshman year, he was moved up to JV to play running back and safety. After being named the first freshman in team history to win the MVP honor for the JV team, Kevin moved on to the varsity team.  As a sophomore, he got some playing time at both fullback and linebacker. His junior year, he started both ways at fullback and linebacker. As a senior captain, Kevin led his Raider team to a 7-3 record and their first playoff game in 5 years.  Kevin gained 1409 yards rushing on 202 carries during his career, and 1092 yards in 123 carries during his 2011 senior year.  He scored 18 touchdowns, with 44 total defensive tackles to win his team’s MVP award as well as All State honors his senior year.

 

Kevin was a four-year wrestler. His junior year he was a regional qualifier and a conference champion and as a senior captain placed fifth in the state at the 189 weight class. In the spring, Kevin played club rugby for the Livonia Outlaws, earning team MVP in the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

 

Kevin said, “I thank my parents and family for the support they have always given me in every sport I play. I also thank all my coaches for developing me into the player I am and my teammates for being a part of my best memories of high school.”
