Kevin Baker Jr. is the son of Kevin Baker Sr. and Lori Ann Rodriguez. He has one brother, Deigo.
Kevin began playing football at Linden Middle School in the seventh grade. Kevin was a two-year starter at Linden High School. He was one of the captains his senior year, starting at both the offensive and defensive end. He played receiver, corner and punter. Kevin received All League for offense and defense both his junior and senior year and he also made the Dream Team both years. In his junior year Kevin helped his team win the Metro League Championship with a strong defensive year including nine interceptions. In his senior year, Kevin helped his team win the District Championship with a strong offensive year with 46 receptions and 888 receiving yards, 98 of those yards came on one play breaking a Metro League record.
Kevin is undecided where he will attend college. He thanked his teammates for “an unforgetable senior year”. He also thanked his “grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and all of my friends for their support.” He said, “I give a special thanks to my coaches that made me the person and athlete I am today.”
