JuWan started playing football at the age of eight in the PAL League with the Detroit Dragons. He continued playing through junior high, finishing with The Detroit Vikings where he received MVP and Best Defensive trophies at the age of thirteen. He started his high school football career at St. Clement High School, then moved to Zoe Christian High School his junior year, which became Parkway Christian his senior year.
At Parkway Christian School he was also on the basketball and track teams.
JuWan thanked, “God for blessing me with life, good health, and this opportunity.” He thanked his mother, grandparents, and family for, “believing in me and supporting me.” He thanked his coaches and the staff at Parkway Christian for their support. He also thanked his teammates and friends.
