Justin started playing football in the third grade where he was part of the Zeeland Rocket Football Program. In high school, Justin was a starting varsity linebacker at Zeeland HS. Justin helped lead the Zeeland West Dux to a conference championship as a junior and to a state championship in Division 4 as a senior. These accomplishments helped Justin earn the All Conference and All State his junior and senior seasons.
Justin will continue his education and football career at Grand Rapids Community College. He thanked his parents, family, friends, and “most of all God for making this all possible for me.” He also thanked the Zeeland fans and the booster club for, “all the support that they have given me over my football career. Thank you to all the businesses and individuals that sponsored me in this event, your support made this possible for me.”
He gave a “special” thank you to Coach Shillito and the entire Zeeland West Football Coaching Staff for, “all the things you taught me that helped me play the game and also for what you taught me about myself.” He also thanked Coach Turner and the Zeeland East Coaching Staff for, “your influence during my first two years of high school.”
