Josh started playing football in second grade, for the St. Clair Shores Green Hornets. His junior year he started on the offensive and defensive lines. That year he had 37 tackles and 3 sacks. His senior year he started as a defensive end and center. He completed his senior year with 77 tackles (61 solo) and 7 sacks. His team finished with a record of 7-3. He was awarded Most Valuable Player. His greatest football accomplishment has been being chosen to play in the All Star game and having the opportunity to play at Northwood University next year.

    Josh was a three sport athlete; he also participated in basketball and baseball. He was the captain for all three teams. Josh has earned honors in baseball making first team All Conference and first Team All District as a first baseman. He helped his team become the 2009 Division 4 state finalist. He holds Parkway Christian’s homerun record. Academically, his cumulative grade point average was 3.84, and he received a 27 on the ACT.

    Josh first thanked “God for blessing me with the opportunity and size to play football.” He also thanked his biggest fans, his mom, dad and grandma. Josh expressed his gratitude t

o his many coaches throughout the years that helped him become the football player and person he is today.
Josh will continue his football and academic careers at Northwood University.
