Jordan is the son of Gordy and Lori Beachnau. He has one older sister, Nicole, and one younger brother, Ryan and an awesome dog and friend, Bella.
Jordan began playing football at the age of four and “once I laid my hands on a football, it became my most desired sport.” Jordan was a three-year starter on varsity, he started as a cornerback as a sophomore and was All Conference and All Academic on a team that made it to Regionals. His junior year he started at both quarterback and cornerback. He was named All Area, All Conference and captain of the team. That year he was also voted the “Team’s Best Competitor.” Jordan’s senior year he was the quarterback on a team that made it to the semi-finals. Jordan’s team went 11-2, and Jordan was named All StateHonorablc Mention, All Area Dream Team and All Academic. Jordan was also the team captain and lead the team in touchdowns and rushing yards and was again voted the “Team’s Best Competitor.”
Jordan also ran track all four year. As a junior, Jordan and his three other junior relay teammates broke both the school 4×100 and 4×200 relay records, while making it to the state meet and placing 6th in the 4×100.
Jordan will attend Grand Valley State University. He said, “I would not be where I am today without all the outstanding support from my family, friends, coaches, and the community. My dad has coached me in every sport since I was old enough to play and has been my number one coach and mentor throughout the years. My mom has always pushed me in the right direction in order for me to be successful and I can’t thank them both enough for the things they have done for me.” He also thanked his sister, Nicole, and his little brother, Ryan, “for their love and support and keeping me in line.” He said, “Many have contributed to my life in some way and for that I want to sincerely thank everybody for helping me get where I am today.”
