John Bobrowski

John’s football career began in the fifth grade when he played for Wyandotte Mt. Carmel CYO, where he started at defensive end on the varsity team. In the sixth grade his team was division champions and appeared at the Prep Bowl. In John’s freshman year of high school, he started at defensive end and offensive tackle on the junior varsity team. The following three years John was on varsity where he was starting middle linebacker and offensive tackle his junior and senior years. John was part of the Bears’ District and Regional Championship team his sophomore year. He was also a team captain and voted MVP his senior year.

 

John was a three-year varsity basketball player where he started at center both junior and senior years, capturing the Mega Blue Championship back-to-back. His senior year the Bears also won the Mega Blue/Gold Championship. John was selected All Conference Mega Blue Honorable Mention his senior season. The Bears were also District Champions his junior year.

 

John was also a member of S.A.D.D., Student Council and NHS, maintaining a 3.4 gpa.

 

John will attend Eastern Michigan University on a full football scholarship and play defensive end. He will study secondary education.

 

John thanked his, “family, coaches, friends, teammates, and anyone else who has supported me throughout my entire career as an athlete.”
