Joe has played football since fifth grade at Lynch Elementary. The next year at Zemmer East Middle School playing contact football, “I figured out I loved the game and I could play it forever.” In middle school I started at both offensive and defensive tackle and I was also the long snapper.” As a freshman he played offensive and defensive tackle. As a JV he started at right tackle and was the long snapper. That year the varsity team won the Metro League title for the first time ever and Joe was moved up to varsity for the playoffs. Joe was a two-year starter at the offensive tackle and occasionally played defensive line. His senior season Joe was a team captain.

Joe played many different sports. His freshman year played varsity hockey and earned his first of four varsity letters in track.  After his freshman year he played basketball where he also earned a varsity letter.

Joe thanked, “my mom and dad first of all. They have been great to me and helped me a lot. I would also like to thank my family for supporting me through everything,” He thanked, “all my coaches for pushing me and making me hit my potential,” and he thanked, “my high school counselor for helping me do all the things to get to this level.”
