Joe has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and volunteered with Amour ministries, traveling with Berrien Center Bible Church youth group to Mexico for a week long build to supply basic housing. Joe also enjoys deer hunting.
Joe’s athletic achievements include: First team All Conference Defensive End 2008, 2009, Second Team and Honorable Mention Long Snapper 2008, 2009, All Area Defensive End 2008, 2009 and Old Spice Red Zone Player of the Year 2010. Wresting honors include First team All Conference in 2009 at 215 pounds, and First Team All Conference Heavyweight in 2010. District Champion, Heavyweight 2010 and State Qualifier 2009, and 2010. Track honors include Second Team All Conference in Discus and 2009 Most Valuable Athlete.
Joseph will attend Tiffin University, Ohio in the fall and play for Coach David Walkosky.
