Three of my family went on to play at the collegiate level.”

Joey spent most of his young life playing hockey and baseball. When he was in eighth grade he “thought I would give football a try”. His passion for football continued as he went into high school. As a senior he ran for 1700 yards and 27 touchdowns, making his career totals over 4000 rushing yards.

Joey also played hockey throughout his high school career. His team won a state championship when he was a freshman.

Joey thanked his parents, family, the Brighton football coaches and the Brighton community for all their support throughout his high school career.
