Jimmy began playing football when he was nine years old. Between his middle school years and his senior year his class had an overall record of 48-5. In Jimmy’s first year on varsity as a junior, he started at running back and played through injuries to both feet. Before his senior year, he had surgery on both feet and was still in a wheelchair in June. He jumped into his senior year, although the full recovery time was almost a year, and rushed for over a thousand yards in nine games.

Jimmy also won the individual state championship in Powerlifting as a junior while his team won the team title.
Jimmy thanked his coaches from middle school through the high school level for “their dedication and care towards the team.” He also thanked his family for “their support and my teammates for the good memories.”
