Jason “has loved football since he was born and started playing tackle football when he was 7 years old.” He was a four-year varsity football player for Stevenson and was a team captain. Jason’s honors include: Detroit News Dream Team quarterback, Macomb County Player of the Year, Gatorade Michigan Player of the Year and Metro PCS’s Mr. Football for 2009. Jason was also a finalist for the Detroit Athletic Club Student Athlete of the Year award. Jason has set new Michigan career and single season passing records that include; career passing yardage of 10,615, TD passes, 97, and completions, 656. He had single season records of 4,433 passing yards, 44 TD passes and 266 pass completions.

Jason was also a four-year letter winner in baseball at shortstop and pitcher and a captain of his baseball team. Jason was named to the All State baseball team as a junior and was also honored as the Macomb County Baseball Player of the Year.

Most importantly, Jason said, “I am proud of my school and my success was only made possible by the great coaches that I played for and the support and efforts of my teammates, friends, family and the entire Sterling Heights Stevenson community.”
