Jason started in over 40 varsity football games for the Reese Rockets. He was brought up to the varsity as a freshman to play fullback. As a sophomore, he started both ways as fullback and inside linebacker. He was on every special team and rarely left the field. As a junior, he carried his team to the division 6 state semifinal game, and he repeated it again as a senior. He has rushed for over 4,000 yards, 60 plus touchdowns, and has racked up, well over, 300 tackles. He was also a team captain his junior and senior years.

Jason also earned three varsity letters in basketball and three in track. He was in the RHS Outof- Doors Club four years and served as President his senior year. Additionally, he participated in National Honor Society, Who’s Who Among American Students, several academic teams, and many other extracurricular activities. Jason graduated seventh in his class with a 3.859 GPA.

Jason will continue his career at Saginaw Valley State University, where he will study a profession in the medical field. There he plans to play inside linebacker for the Cardinals. Jason thanked his mom and dad for never missing a game, and also the rest of his family for all their support. He also commented, “Coach Saylor, Coach Bouvy, and Coach Ryan you all hold a special place in my heart.” In addition, he thanked all his coaches, teammates, friends, and the whole town of Reese for all their support, care, and kindness. He said, “Most of all, I thank God for all his wonderful blessings.”
