Jalin is the son of George Faison and Junice Bryant. He has four brothers and sisters.

Jalin began playing rocket football at the age of seven for the Grand Rapids Rockets. Jalin was a four-year varsity player and started on both offense and defense his junior and senior years. Jalin’s teams compiled a 23-4 record over the past two seasons. Jalin was on a state championship team as a junior and a semi-finalist team his senior year. His teams never lost a league game. Jalin owns every rushing record at West Catholic. He rushed for over 2,000 yards his senior season and more than 30 touchdowns. Jalin was voted team MVP by his teammates.

In addition to football Jalin also participated on the school’s rugby and track teams.

Jalin thanked all of his teammates and the West Catholic community for their continued support. He also thanked his coaches, especially coach Rohn, coach Abid and Mrs. Armstrong for guiding him along the way. Jalin is the fifth consecutive Falcon to participate in the MHSFCA All Star Game. He plans to play at Ferris State University this fall where he will pursue a degree in Health Sciences.
