Ian is the son of Sandy and Dennis and Carla Reinhart.  He has two older brothers, Eli (22) attends SVSU, and Caleb (20) attends Alma College. His stepsister, Kayla (23) attends SVSU and his stepbrother, Chanse is (16).

Ian grew up on the football field.  He started out being his dad’s ball boy in the second grade.  He started playing himself in the third grade and by the time he was a sophomore he was on the varsity team.  Ian was an outside linebacker and running back, winning two conference championships, a District Title, a Regional Title, and appearing in one semi-final game in 2013.  Ian was team captain in 2014 and 2015, Most Valuable Player in 2014 and 2015, and led the team in tackles for three straight years with 227 solos and 150 assists during that span.

Ian also played four years of basketball and baseball earning ten varsity letters, seven All League Honors and three All State selections.

Ian thanked his parents, “for supporting me through all my years of athletics since day one.”  He gave a, “Thank you to ALL my coaches, from youth football through varsity, especially Coach D. He gave a very special thank you to “my Dad, the Head Coach.” He said, “I thank my brothers for showing the way to the top and all my friends and teammates throughout the years.”
