Greg is the son of Chuck and Mary Jo Webber. He is the middle of three boys. His older brother, Charlie (19), is studying business at Central Michigan University. His younger brother, Daniel (15), attends Troy High School and plays football and runs track. Greg has enjoyed the support of his large extended family and friends.

Greg played hockey from the age of five through age 13 when football became his first love. He started playing football in the seventh grade for Boulan Park Middle School. By the time he entered high school, Greg was 6’1’’ and weighed 240 pounds. His work ethic and size earned him a starting position on the varsity offensive line his freshman year. To the delight of their parents, Greg and Charlie played on the same team for the first time in their football careers in the fall of 2009.

Greg maintained his starting position on the offensive line and was named Most Improved Lineman in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Greg was elected by his teammates to be one of the Captains of the varsity squad in both his junior and senior years. Greg also played goal line defense and blocked an extra point attempt his senior year.

Greg spent time off the field giving back to the Troy community by participating in “March is for Reading” and the American Cancer Society “Relay for Life” events annually. Greg also inspired young football players by working for the Troy Parks and Recreation football camp during the past two summers.

Greg said, “I am honored to be selected to the MHSFCA All Star Football team and am grateful to my coaches, family and friends for their encouragement and support.” He thanked, “my coaches for pushing me and teaching me endurance. My teammates for the great memories and I wish them well next year. My extended family and friends for their generous emotional and financial support. I thank my parents for all their hard work to support the Troy Colts Football Organization and my football career.”
