Assistant Coach Eric Pettway

Coach Pettway was born in Southfield and attended Southfield Lathrup High School where he played multiple varsity sports. Eric attended Eastern Michigan University where he was a three year starter for the Eagles’ football team.
Pettway started coaching football in 2005 at Southfield-Lathrup. In 2009 he became the defensive coordinator at River Rouge High School. Since 2009 River Rouge has been to the state playoffs six years and participated in three Regional Championship games and one state final game.
