Donald was a three-year starter for the Hawks and led them to semi-final appearances in the state playoffs in both 2003 and 2004. He started at defensive end, where he gained all state honors. He also played fullback and tailback and led the Hawks in rushing this past season.
Donald also participated in basketball while attending Harrison. Connelly was elected captain by his teammates and exemplified leadership on and off the field. He will continue his career in football at Central Michigan University.
