Derek Harter

Derek was a two-way starter for the past three seasons for the Rudyard Bulldogs. He played various positions on defense including defensive tackle, defensive end, and inside linebacker. On offense he played fullback and offensive tackle. As a junior and senior, Derek was voted Team Defensive Player of the Year by his coaches and teammates for leading the team in tackles.
Derek also played basketball for three years and baseball for four years helping both teams succeed in the post season. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and weightlifting. Derek had a cumulative GPA of 3.79 and will attend Michigan Technological University on a football scholarship.
Derek thanked his family, coaches, teammates, and the community of Rudyard for, “all the great experiences and support,” he received over his high school career as a Rudyard Bulldog.
