Denzel started playing the game of football when he was seven years old. During his career he’s played wide receiver, running back, corner back, slot, kick-returner, punt-returner and quarterback. In his senior season he rushed for over 1600 yards and scored 24 touchdowns on the ground while passing for over 110 yards and 14 touchdowns. Denzel’s Livonia Franklin Patriots went all the way to the semi-final round of the 2015 playoffs before losing to the eventual State Champion Detroit Martin Luther King.
Denzel said, “I thank my parents and coaches for all that they have done for me so that I could excel.” Denzel will attend Allan Hancock University a California public community college in Santa Maria.
