Coach Dennis Reinhart graduated from Montrose High School in 1979.  He earned his Bachelors Degree in business administration from Alma College, and his teaching certification from Central Michigan University. 

            Dennis will start his 30th year of coaching football at Montrose in the fall of 2016.  He was an assistant coach to Tony Annese in Montrose from 1987-1994, where he was the defensive coordinator and offensive line coach.  In that time period they put together a 61 game consecutive regular season winning streak. (Which ended in 1997 at 80 games)  Montrose had a 71 – 11 record, won 7 league and 2 regional titles in that span.

Dennis took over the head coaching position in Montrose in 1995. He has a 179 – 52 record.  He has won 13 League titles, 6 District titles, 5 Regional titles, and won State Championships in 1998 and 2002.

            Coach Reinhart’s 29 year career record at Montrose is 250 – 63, with 20 League, 6 District, 5 Regional and 2 State Championships.  Other honors include being named the Detroit Lions Coach of the Week, MHSFCA Regional Coach of the Year six times, and MHSFCA Coach of the Year in 1998 and 2002. 

            Dennis also has been the head track coach for the past 24 years, and is in his 26th year of coaching junior high basketball.

            Coach Reinhart recently (2015) married his wife Carla.  Dennis has three boys Eli (21),  Caleb (20) and Ian (18) who is participating in the All Star game today.  The Reinhart’s also have two step children Kayla (23), and Chanse (16).
