David started playing football in sixth grade for Watervliet. He was moved up to varsity in the middle of the season, as a freshman. David was both a defensive end and offensive guard. For his career at Watervliet, David had 190 tackles, 39.5 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, 1 interception and 2 touchdowns. David earned 1st Team All Conference Defense and 1st Team All Conference Offense as a junior and second All Team Conference Defense and Offense as a sophomore. As a senior he was named First Team All State on offense and Honorable Mention All State for defense. He was also named First Team All Conference Defense and was voted MVP by his team.
David also wrestled heavyweight starting in seventh grade and was a member of the power lifting team.
David said, “I thank my family, friends and coaches and everybody that has helped me through the years.” David will attend Ferris State University and play football.
