David’s parents are Pam and Greg Brown. He has an older sister Elizabeth (21) who attends Hope College.
David started playing football in the 6th grade. David was a three year starter at slot receiver and cornerback. His sophomore year the team reached the State Semi-Finals. He was a two-way starter on two undefeated seasons and two Division 6 State Championships in 2010 and 2011. He earned All-State honors as a punter in 2010 and Special Mention All-State as a receiver. In 2011 he received Honorable Mention All-State Defensive Back despite missing seven games due to injury. His varsity high school football record was 39-2- l.
David also played basketball and golf. He was a four year letterman on the basketball team where he was elected to all conference honors his junior and senior years and won multiple league and district championships. In golf, David was All-State Honorable Mention his junior year as well as Team MVP, along with three league championships. David has enjoyed playing many sports accumulating a career total of 20 league, district, regional and state championships.

I thank my teammates, because they have always had my back and they are the reason why I have been a part of two State Championship teams. Lastly, I thank God for blessing me with the people in my life and giving me the opportunities to succeed.”
