Curtis’ parents are Lisa Painter and Curtis Brunson and his step-mother is Jeanine Brunson. Curtis has one brother, Kyle Brunson (16).
Curtis started playing football in the seventh grade. He has played multiple positions on both offense and defense including: quarterback, running back, wide receiver, outside and middle linebacker, strong and free safety and cornerback. Curtis was recognized by his Falcon teammates with the Team Hero Award. He was also named First Team Oakland Activities Association, Second Team All State and Offensive and Defensive All American.
At Farmington, Curtis also played basketball and was a member of the track team. In addition he was an active member of the school’s Diversity Strike Club.
Curtis thanked his parents, Coach Wynns, Coach Blackwell, his Rising Stars coaches, his Max Ex coaches, Farmington High School Head Coach John Bechtel, and “all of my Farmington teammates and coaches.” He included Mr. Reese in his thanks and ended by thanking God.
