Craig started playing football in grade seven and has had a passion for the sport ever since. In high school he was a three-year two-way starter. He was voted team captain in both eleventh and twelfth, grades. He earned the Jefferson “Coaches Award” in 2008. Craig played basketball in 2007, wrestled in 2007 and 2008 and threw the shotput and discus all three years in high school.

Craig thanked Coach Pickens, “for always pushing me to be the best I can be and never letting me quit. He never let me slip an inch and he helped me to be what I am today.” He also thanked, “the entire Jefferson Football Staff for making the last three years some of the best.” Finally, he thanked his dad, “for always putting me in the right direction and believing in me to the fullest.”
