Connor began playing football in 5th grade for the Lowell Youth Football Program. It was a great privilege as a freshman to be asked to move up to varsity for the playoffs. On the varsity as a sophomore, he became a three-year starter as an offensive tackle and long snapper. He is most proud of being a part of the Lowell football team, winning the State Football Championship in 2009 and participating in the Pink Arrow Project.

Connor was also the heavyweight wrestler for the Lowell wrestling team. He was honored to be a part of such a great program that also won a State Championship in 2009. He placed 7th in the state in Division II in his junior year and received All Conference and All State honors. As a senior, he placed 2nd in the state in Division I and received All Conference and All State honors. He was nominated for the DAC Athlete of the Year. Connor was captain of both his football and wrestling teams. He managed a 3.6 grade point average and volunteered for the youth football and wrestling camps. He also played lacrosse his freshman and sophomore years. For fun, he likes to play golf and tennis.

Connor thanked all of the coaches, “That have helped make me the player I am today, especially football coaches Noel Dean and Mark Russell, and wrestling coaches Dave Dean, Coach Cooper and Coach Misko.” He also said, “I am thankful for the community for supporting the team and coming out to the games, and for my teammates for all of the hard work and dedication they put into becoming State Champions.” Connor also thanked football coach, Keith Houston, and uncle, Kurt Kruse, for helping him with his highlight tapes. “Last but not least” he thanked “my family for all of the support and love they have given me.”
