2011 Assistant Coach Zachary Maghes

Manchester High School

Zachary Maghes is a 1996 graduate of Manchester High School. He played football for current East and Manchester High School Head Coach Wes Gall.  Zachary also played one year of college football at Central Michigan University.  Zachary has been an assistant varsity coach for Manchester the past eight seasons.  During those years he has won five Cascade Conference Championships, qualified for the State Playoffs seven times and won three District Titles.  He is also the head women’s lacrosse coach at Eastern Michigan University and  Ann Arbor Pioneer (Ann Arbor Area Coach of The Year 2009).  

Coach Maghes has a bachelors degree with a coaching minor from EMU.  Currently, Zachary is a CSCS trainer, nutritionist and medical massage therapist in Ann Arbor.  

He said, “It is a great honor to have the oppurtunity to coach in the 31st Annual Michigan High School All Star Football Game.  It has been a fun process working with other coaches from around the state and the state’s top players.  I’m always looking for experiences to grow as a person and as a coach and this has been an exceptional experience.”
