Coach Rabideau graduated from Okemos HS in 1985 where he played football, basketball, and track. While attending Lansing Community College from 1985-1988, Coach Rabideau began his coaching career at his alma mater Okemos HS, under the direction of Keith Froelich. Coach Rabideau graduated from GVSU in 1992. He earned his Masters in 1999 from WMU.

Coach Rabideau was hired to teach and coach at Spring Lake in 1990. He coached the freshmen for one year, junior varsity for three years, and was a varsity assistant for five years. In the spring of 1999 Coach Rabideau was hired as the head coach at Spring Lake.

Now, in his 20th year as a teacher at Spring Lake and in his 14th year as a head coach, Coach Rabideau has guided the football program to 9 playoff appearances, 2 district championships, 1 regional championship, and a state runner up in 2000.  Spring Lake had only made one playoff appearance before his arrival; during his tenure the Lakers have earned 4 conference championships.

Coach Rabideau has been named Regional Coach of the Year twice and was Division 5 Coach of the Year in 2000. He has also been named the Muskegon Area Coach of the Year twice. Coach Rabideau has been married for 17 years to his wife Tami, who is his best friend and inspiration. They have three wonderful children, Maddie 12, Luke 10, and Ella 7.

     Coach Rabideau said. “I am most thankful to my players past and present. I am very grateful to the MHSFCA and its members for allowing me to coach in this once in a lifetime game. A thank you to all of the wonderful coaches I have had on my staff and been associated with in this great game. And lastly, I would like to thank my wonderful parents, Al and Audrey Rabideau, whom have been very supportive in my life.”
