Caulton’s football career was launched at the age of seven with the Southfield Jayhawks, a community non-profit organization in Southfield. Caulton learned the fundamentals of the game from coaches who believed in a “positive youth experience” that included playing hard, teamwork and good sportsmanship. He further developed his versatility at Brother Rice High school in 2003 as a running back. His talent was quickly recognized by the legendary Al Fracassa who moved Caulton to varsity at the end of his freshman year.

As a freshman, Caulton broke the school’s freshman long jump record which remains unbroken today. Caulton has earned several varsity letters and various medals and awards in football and track. In 2005, he helped to lead Brother Rice to the 2005 Division 2 state championship where they were crowned Division 2 State Champions at Ford Field. In 2007, Caulton was named captain by his teammates who” believed in his leadership and talents.” Throughout the past four years Caulton has continuously performed with precision as a football player with the Birmingham Brother Rice Warriors. “I sincerely thank God for all blessings bestowed on me and my family for always supporting me. I am especially grateful to Coach Al Fracassa and the Brother Rice coaching staff for their support on and off the field. I thank the Southfield Jayhawks organization for giving me a positive experience. I thank my teammates who challenged me to do my best and gave me memories of what it means to be a Warrior for life.” Caulton will play for Michigan State University in the fall.
