Clarkston finished that season 9-2 losing in the district finals. The following year the team finished 6-4 losing in the first round of the playoffs but, Bryan was named most valuable lineman of the team. As a senior Bryan was voted captain of the team and helped lead them to an undefeated regular season, a district championship and a regional championship, finally losing to Sterling Heights Stevenson in the semifinals on the last play of the game. Ever since my first year of football they have supported me by never missing a game and always supplying me with the equipment and money I needed.” He also thanked, “all the coaches who have coached me through the years, without their help I would not be the successful player I am.” He thanked his teammates and friends and everyone in the community who supported the team. “The stands were always packed every Friday night even when we were away.”
