Bridger was a three year varsity starter. As a sophomore he played tight end and defensive end. His junior year he moved to offensive guard and defensive tackle. His senior year he stayed at guard and was the key blocker in an offense that averaged 300 yards per game rushing. Defensively he played defensive tackle and some defensive end and had 69 tackles, 4 for loss and 5 sacks. He also recovered 2 fumbles.

Bridger also was a three year starter on the varsity basketball team earning All Area and All State Honorable Mention as a junior. He also earned All Conference and All Area honors as a baseball player.

Bridger thanked, “my father Matthew, my sister Danielle and my late mother Suzanne who displayed more courage than anyone I have ever known. I especially want to thank my grandma and grandpa for encouraging me to achieve my best in whatever I do, and my aunts, uncles and cousins who have supported me through all my years of football, basketball and baseball.” He also thanked, “all the coaches I have had from pee-wee all the way to varsity. I thank Coach Novara, Coach Anderson and Coach Brooks for a wonderful high school football experience and all of my teammates for great sophomore, junior and senior years.

Bridger will attend Eastern Michigan University on a football scholarship.
