Brian was a three-year varsity starter on both the offensive and the defensive line. The Blue Devils were Blue Water Area Conference champions all three years of Brian’s tenure. The team was state semi-finalists in 2003. Brian was a co-captain in his senior year.
Brian also wrestled and ran track and field. He was fourth in this year’s State Finals for wrestling. Brian threw shot put and discus in track and field. He was also President of the Varsity Club and involved in Student Government.
Brian thanked his mother and father for supporting him through school and sports and for, “never letting me just ‘get by’ in whatever I did.” He also thanked his coaches, “for always pushing me to do the best I could. I also thank my friends and teammates for the memories that we made.
