Brett was a starter for three years on the Wyoming Park varsity football team, playing as wide receiver and defensive back. Brett has also done all the kicking for his teams since he started football. Brett‘s most important awards were the awards given to him from his coaches and teammates. These included the 2005 Summer Skills Camp Viking Award, 2005 Wyoming Park Player of the Year, 2005 Wyoming Park Defensive Back of the Year, and 2005 Wyoming Park Special Teams Player of the Year.
Brett’s hobbies include, hunting, fishing, basketball which Brett played all four years in High School, and baseball which he played for four years. Brett was on the honor roll all four years.
Brett thanked his family, friends, coaching staff, and teammates for all of the support throughout the years. He especially thanked his varsity football coach, John Doyle, “for going beyond the call of duty in helping me both on and off the field. Perhaps someday, Coach Doyle will get a special recognition for the extra help he gives all his players. Most importantly, I thank God for the gift to play football and to be able to play in this game.”
