Bobby played quarterback and safety throughout his middle school and high school football career. He again played quarterback and safety in high school. He even did some kicking for his freshman and JV football teams. On Troy’s first possession his senior season, Bobby rushed for a 71 yard touchdown. He scored seven rushing touchdowns and five passing touchdowns. He threw for 1141 yards on the season. He ranks 6th in all-time passing yards at Troy High. Bobby rushed for 709 yards. He was Captain of his freshman, JV and senior varsity football teams. He was named MVP for JV football in 2007 and varsity football in 2009, with an “Outstanding Varsity Athlete” award in 2008. 

Also an outstanding basketball player, Bobby was awarded MVP and was team high scorer and OAA White Division 2nd highest scorer his junior year. He was Captain as both a junior and a senior and was named MVP and Senior of the Year after the 2010 season. The Oakland Press ranked him 12th best in Oakland County. Bobby was awarded MVP as a senior and also received the Outstanding Senior award. Outside of sports, Bobby was a peer mediator at Troy High as well as an “Angels on Bikes” volunteer.

Bobby thanked his parents, “for everything that they have done for me.” He said, “Without them I would never be in the position I am now. They were always my number one fans whether it was on or off the field. I couldn’t have asked for better support from them!” He added, “I also thank my brothers and sister; they always were there for me no matter what. It meant the world to me having them at every game cheering me on.” He thanked “all my teammates that have been around me for my career at Troy High. This never would have been possible if it weren’t for all of you guys playing beside me and pushing me to be the best I can be.” Finally, he thanked, “all of my friends, family, coaches, and peers that have been with me throughout my life. Without your constant guidance and leadership none of this would have happened.”
