Assistant Coach Bob Bouvy
Reese High School
Bob Bouvy, graduated from Reese HS in 1970, where he played football for “Hall of Fame” Coach James Van Paris. Bob is a lifetime resident of Reese. He is employed as an electrician at GM Powertrain in Saginaw, Michigan. He has coached youth baseball since graduating from high school. Coach Van Paris hired Bob to coach JV football in 1991. Coach Saylor made him his varsity assistant when he came to Reese in 2000. He was selected as an Assistant Coach of the Year by the MHSFCA in 2004.
Coach Bouvy has been married for 36 years to the number one Reese Rocket fan, Elaine. They have two sons, Matthew (34), Stephan (30), and a daughter, Bethany (28). The entire Bouvy family along with the seven grandchildren enjoy Rocket Football.
Bob said, “Football to me is one of the greatest games and one of the best teaching tools of life for young men. I look forward to working with these fine athletes and this outstanding group of coaches. I thank Coach Saylor for this once in a life time opportunity. Thanks also to the MHSFCA for this game and all the work they do for football in the State of Michigan.”
