Anthony is the son of Carrie and Terry Zettel.  He has two brothers, Kyle and Easton, and a sister, Jenna.  

Anthony was a three-sport athlete who excelled in each one.  He was an all conference basketball player, a state champion in track and has numerous football honors.

As a sophomore, Anthony was a two-way starter as a defensive end and an offensive tackle.  As a sophomore, he was named all conference.  In his junior year he earned all conference, all area, and all state honors. During his senior year he was also named to the all conference team, was the player of the year for the Bay City Times, and was also chosen as an All State member of the Detroit Free Press Dream Team.  He was also named to the Badger All American team, the Air Force All American Team, and was selected to play in the Army All American game.  This past fall Anthony committed to Penn State University to play for legendary coach Joe Paterno.

Anthony thanked his family for “all of their support throughout the years.”  He also thanked his “friends and teammates for all they have done, and my coaches as well for all of the time they spent to make me a better person and player.”
