After attending Detroit Loyola, Anthony became a two-year starter for Royal Oak Shrine where he played running back for Coach John Goddard. In his junior year he rushed for 979 yards and 13 touchdowns and followed this by rushing for 2300 yards and 25 touchdowns in his senior season. He broke many records at Shrine. He was a two-time all Catholic and all league selection, and in 2008 he was named All State.
Anthony thanked his family and his coaching staff at Shrine High School for, “helping me on and off the field.” He added, “Most of all I thank my Dad for coming to all of my games for the last nine years.”
