• Planning and running football practices
• Teaching fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship
• Organizing game strategies and player development
• Supervising student-athletes during practices and games
• Promoting academic success and positive character
Qualifications:
• Football coaching experience preferred

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Must meet district and MHSAA coaching requirements

Wayland Union is seeking a defensive coordinator to join our defensive staff of 3-4 other position coaches to plan, install, and coordinate a defensive system for grades 9-12. We split our staff so this coordinator position will focus solely on the defensive side of the football. While teaching jobs are unknown at this time, there is the possibility of vacancies in the areas of social studies, science, and math.
